4Civility Certification ProgramGet certified to show you are committed to being respectful and civil. This program gives individuals, businesses, and organizations a special seal that shows they practice respectful communication. You apply online, pay a fee, and go through a review process. If approved, you get a digital certificate and logo to display. The certification shows others they can trust you to treat them with respect. You must renew every two years and follow civility standards.
Civility Scorecard - Speech Analysis ToolThe Civility Scorecard is a tool that measures how civil or respectful speech is. It gives an objective score for difficult conversations and divisive topics. The tool helps people understand how they communicate without personal bias getting in the way. It's designed to encourage more respectful speech and help people work together better. Organizations and individuals can use this to improve their communication on tough subjects. You need to contact them to get examples, pricing, and more information about how to use the tool.
Report Civility ConcernsThis service lets people report when organizations with certified civil badges are not acting civil or respectful. If you see a certified organization behaving in ways that don't match civility standards, you can file a complaint through this online form. You need to provide your name, the organization's name, and explain what happened. This helps the Civility Council make sure certified organizations stay committed to being respectful and civil.
Civility Ambassador Certification ProgramThis program teaches people how to understand and spread civility in their communities. You take 8 online classes at your own speed, then have a short interview. Each class takes 5 to 50 minutes to complete. You need to pass quizzes with 80% or higher scores. After finishing, you become a certified Civility Ambassador and join a community of people who care about treating others with respect. The program helps you learn tools to talk about why civility matters and how to promote it in your daily life.
