Small farmers can make more money selling these fish because they're affordable, nutritious, and taste good. The fish also helps fight climate change because they turn feed into protein very efficiently. As the world needs 40% more fish by 2030 to feed everyone, GIFT tilapia is being used in over 17 countries to help end hunger and malnutrition. This program has been working for over 30 years to help communities facing poverty get better nutrition and income from fish farming.
